ALMA: Access to Language Methods for Increasing Migrants’ Abilities to Start Their Own Business is a European cooperation project aimed at stimulating migrants to begin a new business, to inspire and provide them with practical guidelines in order to start and run a successful company within a new cultural and linguistic context.

Digital tool to empower migrant adults to develop language and intercultural skills needed for starting a business and facilitating their entrepreneurial venture. The Digital Learning kit offers instant, on-the-go support to migrants who want to become entrepreneurs. It allows them to quickly achieve progress in adaptation and language learning and directly helps them to get well prepared before starting a business.

Speak enterprise

SPEAK Enterprise is a tool for language practicing on different entrepreneurship topics in partner languages Dutch, English, Bulgaria, Italian, Spanish and Swedish. It contains audio animations based on real life situations and interactive exercises useful for self-study.

ACT Enterprise is an interactive tool containing interesting facts and cultural specific information about The Netherlands, Bulgaria, Italy, Sweden, Spain and the UK. It provides migrants with useful information on how to start their business in the new country and helps them with some tips for success.

MY ALMA An entrepreneur’s journal

The entrepreneur’s journal, is a resource for migrant entrepreneurs about to set up a business in a new country. The journal has been developed using research in business cultures and top tips from successful migrant entrepreneurs having settled across the following six European countries: Bulgaria, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
